Simple Pop-It Toy Freezer Yogurt Snacks For Kids

The weather will be warming up soon, so I’m already on the lookout for summer snacks. These pop-it toy freezer snacks are perfect for the warmer weather or any weather! My son eats ice in the winter, so it doesn’t really matter if it’s warm or not. He’ll inhale these snacks in sub zero temps.

First Things First

This freezer snack is so incredibly simple. You will need to use a pop-it toy which you likely already have laying around somewhere. If not, we love this super cute dino pop-it set.

We all know those pop-it toys are covered in who-knows-what, so you’ll definitely want to sterilize the toy first. In order to ensure the pop-it toy is 100% clean and sterilized, I recommend the following steps:

1. Gather Supplies:
   • Mild soap or dishwashing detergent
   • Warm water
   • Soft-bristled brush (toothbrush works well)
   • Rubbing alcohol or disinfectant wipes
   • Microfiber cloth or towel
2. Preparation:
   • Fill a basin or sink with warm water. Make sure it’s not too hot to avoid damaging the toy.
   • If the pop it has any detachable parts, remove them before cleaning.
3. Soap and Water Wash:
   • Add a small amount of mild soap or dishwashing detergent to the warm water.
   • Submerge the pop it fidget toy in the soapy water and let it soak for a few minutes.
   • Gently scrub the entire surface of the pop it with a soft-bristled brush to remove any dirt or grime.
4. Rinse Thoroughly:
   • After scrubbing, rinse the pop it toy under running water to remove all soap residue.
5. Disinfection:
   • Option 1: Rubbing Alcohol
     • Dampen a microfiber cloth or cotton pad with rubbing alcohol.
     • Wipe down the entire surface of the pop it fidget toy with the alcohol-soaked cloth or pad.
   • Option 2: Disinfectant Wipes
     • If you prefer, you can use disinfectant wipes instead of rubbing alcohol. Simply wipe the entire surface of the toy with the disinfectant wipes, ensuring complete coverage.
6. Air Dry:
   • After cleaning and disinfecting, place the pop it fidget toy on a clean towel or paper towel to air dry.

Now that the pop it toy is free from any germs, we are ready to make delicious yogurt freezer snacks for your toddler!

You really won’t believe how easy this is!

Here’s what you’ll need:

• Pop it fidget toys. We LOVE dino pop it fidget toys.
• Yogurt pouches. We use Siggi’s yogurt pouches in our home, but any yogurt pouch will do just fine!

That’s it! 2 items, and you’re set to go.

All you need to do is fill each bubble with yogurt, pop it in the freezer for a few hours and VOILA! You have the easiest summer (or winter in our case) treat. These are also perfect for teething while offering a great sensory snack for your kiddos.
