Most Genius Screen Time Hack You Need To Implement TODAY

Anyone who has children knows that the screen time battle is fierce! And it seems that it doesn’t get any easier as they get older. I’m definitely not a no-screen mama, but I sometimes want my child watching something other than cartoons or YouTube. I recently learned the most genius screen time hack you will want to implement ASAP!

Before I share this amazing hack, I think it is imperative to note that I use screen time. I’m not against screen time. While I believe too much is not a good thing, I definitely use it here and there to make dinner, get something done, etc. I don’t want anyone to feel shame for using screen time, that’s not my goal here. I simply want to share this freaking amazing hack that I LOVE.

Amazing Screen Time Hack

Jamie Hulick Ambroziak shares this amazing hack on her Instagram account jamieambroziak. She notes that this is a guilt-free way to incorporate screen time without constantly using Miss Rachel or Blippie. Not that those shows are bad, but they do get annoying. She’s not saying screen time is bad. She’s simply giving an alternative screen time option for moms who are wanting something other than the typical toddler programming.

Here’s what you do: create a slide show on your phone of family photos and live stream it to your television.

That’s IT! Simple, but absolutely genius!

My son asks often to see photos of himself. He loves seeing photos of the family, himself, things we’ve done, places we’ve gone, etc. He will 100% be into this.

How To Create A Photo Slideshow On An Iphone

Open the Photos App:

• Locate and tap on the “Photos” app on your iPhone.

Select Photos:

• Tap on the “Albums” tab or the “Photos” tab to find the pictures you want to include.
• Tap “Select” in the upper right corner.
• Tap on each photo you want to include in the slideshow.

Create the Slideshow:

• After selecting your photos, tap the “Share” button (a square with an arrow pointing up) in the bottom left corner.
• Scroll down and tap “Slideshow.”
• Note: If you don’t see the “Slideshow” option, do this instead. On the bottom right hand of the screen, tap the circle with three dots inside. Select “Slideshow” from the options.

Customize the Slideshow:

• The slideshow will start playing automatically. Tap on the screen to bring up the slideshow controls.
• Tap “Options” to customize the slideshow settings, such as theme, music, and duration per slide.
