If you’re looking for inspiration, here are a few fun frozen desserts to try:

Frozen Cookie Dough Bites: Small balls of cookie dough are frozen to be eaten directly or to use as mix-ins for ice cream or yogurt.

Peanut Butter Freezer Fudge: A simple mixture of peanut butter, a sweetener like honey or maple syrup, and sometimes a bit of coconut oil, is spread in a pan, frozen, and then cut into squares.

Frozen Chocolate Peanut Butter Banana Bark

Ingredients:

  • 3 bananas, sliced
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (natural peanut butter works best as it is easier to spread/drizzle)
  • Small handful of chopped peanuts
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 TBSP coconut oil
  • Pinch of flaky salt

Instuctions:

  • Slice the bananas thinly and arrange them in vertical rows on a sheet of parchment paper.
  • After placing all the banana slices, cover them with another piece of parchment or wax paper. Use the bottom of a jar or cup to gently press the bananas flat.
  • Once flattened, peel off the top layer of parchment or wax paper.
  • Drizzle peanut butter over the bananas and spread it evenly to cover them.
  • Finely chop a small handful of peanuts and scatter them over the peanut butter layer.
  • In a heatproof bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil. Melt them together, either on the stovetop or in the microwave, until smooth.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the bananas, spreading it evenly across the surface.
  • Sprinkle a pinch of flaky salt over the top, then place the tray in the freezer for at least 8 hours or overnight. Slice into pieces and enjoy!
