Kayla Simpson had no idea she was pregnant. Just 15 minutes before giving birth, she found out she was about to become a mom!

Simpson had a cryptic pregnancy, which is a pregnancy where the pregnant mother goes 20 weeks or more without knowing they are pregnant. It is extremely rare and occurs in about 1 out of every 475 pregnancies, with about 1 in every 2,500 pregnancies going unnoticed until actually giving birth.

Kayla had zero pregnancy symptoms. In fact, she had her period the entire pregnancy and actually lost 30 pounds! She felt completely normal and had no reason to even think she was pregnant.

One day, Kayla started to experience mild cramping. At first, she thought it was gas. As the cramps intensified, she started to get nervous and called her brother for help. It was apparent that she needed to get to the emergency room ASAP. Something was clearly wrong.

When they arrived to the hospital, the doctor conducted a series of tests and an ultrasound. The ultrasound showed she was pregnant, but it was uncertain how far along she was. During the ultrasound, Kayla began crowning. The baby was coming!

In a matter of minutes, Kayla went from a woman who had no idea she was pregnant to a MOTHER. Welcome to motherhood!
